Description
Sired by elite stud male Beck Brow Explorer, multi Supreme and Champion winner who himself has sired Supremes and Champions. Explorer’s sire is Cambridge Navigator of ACC, BAS National Supreme Champion and undefeated multi supreme champion of 2009. Explorer is a grandson on his dam’s side of Accoyo Remarque, one of the super sires of the British alpaca industry. The Navigator cross with Remarque is arguably one of the most successful breeding combinations. Explorer has density, fineness to all his extremities in an advanced fleece style. He has proved himself in the quality of his progeny and great progeny, who have won National Champions and Champions.
Ammunition’s dam is by Camelot Tor, a ten times Australian Supreme champion who also sired Gilt Edge Tor de Force of Ashwood. Tor offers long lasting fineness, density and a highly lustrous fleece.
It was no mean achievement that Ammunition was selected as a junior, to be in the 2017 Beck Brow show team at the BAS National 2017, where he won 1st place in a split class of 11 junior white males. With elite genetics on both sides of his pedigree, it is not surprising that Ammunition has produced champions whilst standing at Chestnut Farm Alpacas for 3 years, prior to our purchase and we are sure his pre-potency will be an asset to any herd.
