Description
Luna is a silver grey beauty! Her fleece is very fine, with density, tight crimp and lustre. She has excellent conformation, solid bone structure and very unique colouring.
Luna has grey on both sides of her pedigree, and both her dam and sire have produced black and grey award winning grey offspring. Lightning retained a micron count of 26.58 at age 10! Ebony was a Casanova II son who was well known for his fleece fineness.
Luna earned two 1st place red ribbons at the Keystone Alpaca Classic, in both 2008 and 2009 shows. The judges commented on the "softness of her fleece, with good density, brightness and handle".
Luna gave birth to a true black cria in the summer of 2011, sired by Birchleaf Xxtreme, a Reserve Grand Champion Black.
Luna has been bred to Snowmass After Dark, a superb true black male, with strong grey genetics on both sides of his pedigree.
